Take the A1 toll road south. Exit at Firenze-Signa and follow sign posts for the 4-lane highway SGC FI-PI-LI : direction Pisa/Livorno. After passing the Q8 service station exit at GINESTRA.
Turn right towards Ginestra/Montespertoli and follow signs for CERBAIA. Arrive in CERBAIA after approx. 6 km (approx. 3.7 miles). At the Stop sign turn left and go toward CHIESANUOVA and ROMOLA.
After 500 meters (550 yards) take the small road that veers off to the left with a vertical signpost for ROMOLA . After 900 meters (1000 yards) along a vineyard you come upon the rose colored MONTESECONDO farmhouse on the left.

Take the A1 toll road north. Exit at FIRENZE-CERTOSA and at the roundabout follow signposts for SIENA. Exit at SAN CASCIANO and follow on S.R. 2 towards San Casciano. Before entering town, at the roundabout, take the road for EMPOLI-CERBAIA. Arriving in downtown Cerbaia, at the stop sign, turn right towards CHIESANUOVA and ROMOLA.

Go to PORTA ROMANA, the city gate at the south end of town, and proceed up the Via Senese and out of Florence towards Galluzzo. In Galluzzo follow the road toward Volterra (provincial road No. 4). (X km later) Upon arriving at a fork in the road take the road on the right sign posted ROMOLA. Go through Romola. 1300 meters (1500 yards) later on the right you will see a rose colored farmhouse: MONTESECONDO.
