I punteggi di Antonio Galloni per le annate 2016 Tïn, 2017 Chianti Classico e 2018 Montesecondo:

2018 Montesecondo – 91
The 2018 Sangiovese is fermented with ambient yeasts and aged in cement. A wine of pure and total joy, the 2018 offers an exuberant, racy expression of Sangiovese that emphasizes purity of fruit, floral top notes and bright, salivating acids. I would prefer to drink the 2018 young in order to enjoy the striking purity the wine shows today. What a wine!

2017 Chianti Classico – 94
The 2017 Chianti Classico is supple, racy and inviting, with striking textural depth and phenomenal balance. Succulent dark cherry fruit gives the 2017 much of its immediacy and appeal. Silky, plush and exceptionally harmonious, the 2017 captures all of the natural radiance of the year. Sweet floral and spice notes add lift to this sophisticated, beautifully polished Chianti Classico from Montesecondo. Quite simply, this is a phenomenal wine for the vintage.

2016 Tïn – 89
The 2016 Tin is 100% Sangiovese fermented and aged in amphora, with aging of ten months on the skins. A wilder expression of Sangiovese comes through, with plenty of savory, game and licorice character. There is no shortage of personality, but I find the Tin a bit rough around the edges and lacking the polish that makes the best wines here so compelling.
